Delete Your DmScout Account

- No longer have the app? Email [email protected]
- Email requests are actioned within 30 days
Delete your account from the app
You can permanently delete your DmScout account at any time from inside the app
- Open the DmScout app and sign in
- Go to Settings
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm when prompted
Your account is deleted immediately. You will be signed out and will no longer be able to sign in with these credentials.
If you no longer have the app
Email [email protected] from the email address registered on your DmScout account, with the subject line "Account deletion request"
- The email address on your DmScout account
- Your business or store name
We verify that the request comes from the registered account holder before deleting. Requests are actioned within 30 days.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove
- Your account and profile information (name, email, phone number)
- Your connected store data and product information
- Customer conversation history
- Business analytics and usage data
- Push notification tokens and device identifiers
What we keep, and for how long
A small amount of data is retained for legal and statistical reasons
- Transaction and billing records — 7 years. Indian tax and accounting law requires us to retain records of payments. These are kept separately from your account and are not used for any other purpose.
- Aggregated, anonymised analytics. Data that can no longer be linked to you or your business may be retained in aggregate form.
